WHAT WE OFFER
Summerland Beach Rides offers both private and group rides for riders of all ages over 7 years old, beginners to advanced.
BEACH RIDES
The beach rides feature a variety of different sights, where you may see dolphins and whales as you ride along the edge of the pacific ocean and listen to the sound of the breaking waves at your feet, or should we say hooves. Riders ages 7 years of age and older are welcome to join this ride. For riders younger than 7 years old, please check out our Kids Encounter.
TRAIL RIDES
The Coastal Bluffs trail ride features breathtaking views of the coastline and lemon groves in the hills. You will ride through the hills of Summerland where you will see butterflies in the eucalyptus trees and an occasional hawk flying over head. Riders ages 7 years of age and older are welcome to join this ride. For riders younger than 7 years old, please check out our Kids Encounter.

SUMMERLAND FARM
Summer Land Farm is located in
the small beach town of Summerland, in the County of Santa Barbara, California.
It is owned by horse trainer Charlie Picerni, a rider and trainer for over 30 years. Through the years, Charlie has trained riders and horses in hunter jumpers, has
taken his team to National Competitions,
and now continues his passion and love for horses offering these exhilarating guided horseback rides.
Summer Land Farm has a variety
of different horses for all riding levels.

1. What is your minimum age for the beach and trail rides?
Our minimum age is 7 years old
2. What is your minimum age for the Kids Encounter?
We do not have a minimum age for this activity, however we feel children 3 and older enjoy it the most.
4. How can we make a reservation?
Please make a reservation directly on our website, click "book now".
5. What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hour notice for a full refund. If you do not cancel or re-schedule your ride within 24 hours of you appointment we will offer you a gift certificate for a future ride.
6. Where are you located?
We are located in a small beach town called Summerland, just a few miles south of Santa Barbara, CA. Once you make a reservation for one of our rides or kids encounter, details are sent with exact address and location
7. Can I canter on the beach?
For the safety of our guests, horses and our staff, all rides are walking rides.
8. Do you have a weight limit?
Yes, our weight limit is 250 lbs.
